As a 60 year old beginning a career change @ 41 into Teaching, I have found it difficult in the subject of Art & Design to find anything other than short term or no contract positions in Australia and have spent the past 10 years combing countries just for a job - China is one of the few places that accept older workers, so i am endeavouring to find another job there - the students are courteous and hard working, the international teachers were also conscienscious and friendly - I enjoy the international flavour of the schools and am looking forward to gaining a position once again
