Hard luck Bill! However, you could could have tried Unity 2D. It works on my 10 yr old Sony desktop! :)
Tried the RC and it would not load on my Dell Netbook. Tried it on my 4 yr old HP laptop, and the Unity Desktop Environment did not work for me. I will be distro hopping for awhile. I like SolusOs but it needs polish. Will probably go with OpenSuse initially.
