Two shop dogs here. Lucky want to be were I am and Lucy loves her some off cuts, and she is very selective too. They are not in the shop when I use the power tools, that`s too risky.

Have a blue skink that lives in my wood shaving pile in the corner. Does it count? No dogs or cats we have allergies.
I had a Ferrell cat that moved in for about a year and them left, I have noticed a nose dive in the design department since my shop consultant left. The possum who tried to fill the position did not last long at all, at some point I need to talk to H.R.

always have my dog with me in the shop . she has passed on now after 15 years of faithfully hanging out with me. one thing i noticed happen over the years is she tended to loose her hearing slowly. she would get restless when i had the shaper or planer running. i can not make a clear connection between the shop decibel level and how that might have hastened her hearing lose. i don't think she liked the loud noises but she never walked out on me. i feel now she sacrificed her hearing to be by my side and it makes me sad and happy at the same time.
