I think that its stupid to suspend him. People get hit, its not like it hurt any more then being hit on accident. Look at chase utley, he gets hit all the time, once broke his wrist. No pitcher got suspended.
one ethos in the olympics is to entertain the body and nourish the mind. hamels needs to just think of the little leagues, peewee and all those young hero worshipping fans then ask himself is this really the way to show ones love and respect for the game.
Come on guys, this is baseball. If he shuts up and says nothing, or "The pitch got away from me", nothing happens. He should get suspended for being stupid and saying he threw at Harper.
