Years ago, I worked at an area Mall. On Saturday mornings I would watch car after car dropping off their children as early as 9:00a. The mall didn't even open until 10:00a. On more than one occasion we saw children as young as 6 yrs old being left, sometimes with siblings and sometimes with friends, and sadly, sometimes alone. The mall finally had to post security outside the entrances to stop people from choosing our mall for daycare. It's about time someone made parents be responsible for their own childs' entertainment/daycare. Not nice to make the rest of the world responsible for your child's raising.
PS: if some of those parents saw their child in action when wandering the mall with their friends, they would be soooooo embarrassed !!
