This is a category which is always hard for me to attempt to judge fairly, because I do not too often care for "full production" audiobooks in general. That said, Ellen Kushner's "Swordspoint" (Neil Gaiman Presents) was well balanced and well produced last year. An early favorite for me this year is Shadow's Son by Jon Sprunk (GraphicAudio), which even though very highly produced was still very listenable for me.
