He is so painful to listen to! He tries to be hep and cool and all he is is a wannabe! What Mon Nite needs is an announcer; not a couple pathetic, washed up athletes/wannabe entertainers.
Who gives a flip about telestrators, play diagrams and explanations that I just saw! I think the
announcers belong on "The View"; so they can entertain the chicks/chunks and if this is not enough; just wait till the home-run derby at the All-Star Game; I think this could possibly be
most repulsive presentation on ANY NETWORK EVER!!

Wow. Don't know why anybody doesn't like this move. ESPN Monday night broadcasters have been horendous. Gruden? Really? I quit watching Monday night football they are so bad. Mostly I enjoy the game but you can't mute it all time. You have no choice but to listen to the sportscasters and anyone is an improvement over Gruden... Except maybe Troy Aikman and Joe Buck who lull eveybody to sleep.

Are you kidding? NFL Network with the full list of idiots... Jamie Dukes... Deon Sanders... Warren Sapp..

what gets me about chris, he sounds like he changes his voice in his comments..he takes it down sometimes almost to a growl.

I like what Chris said. His act is old. Older than Stuart Scott's, and that's saying something.
    Oh, yeah — plus, he's a huge douche. A Flintstone-ish shaved ape.

This guy is a loudmouth. He is the worst announcer on TV. When I see him on, I turn the station off. I can't see what the network sees in him, other than he's been around forever.

Hate it; I hope it doesn't stick. MNF commentary is rough as it is without adding Chris Berman to the mix. Also, HD broadcasting is not kind to that man.

Rough crowd today...As a die-hard football fan and 35 year Bucs season ticket holder, I am thrilled! I think Chris and his entire team are all great on the air in any capacity! I also like Trent Dilfer and respect his football knowledge and personality as well! Can't wait!

Chris Berman, and the the rest of the ESPN Monday Night Countdown crew, (I'm looking at YOU "Uncle" Tom Jackson and YOU Chris "I'll never get in the HOF" Carter) are a bunch of classless, no talent, CLOWNS!!!! I will just keep the volume down.

Tired of his entire act. My love for football has nothing to do with his catchphrases, sound effects and 'insider' mentality.

i normally turn the volume down and just watch the game anyway. i dont like listening to any of them.

sorry i just dont like him. he says some things about certain teams that is not right. he always want to think he is funny and when he is not. that is one reason i stop watching ESPN i think 12 years ago. thank god there is the NFL network. man dont ever put him on there.
