A shopkeeper who chased and then kicked a suspected thief has wound up being charged with assault himself. Your thoughts?

Very sad that a man who was only protecting his business was charged

Owner went too far; chasing is one thing, but kicking the man in the face just crosses the line

I'm hoping the Crown will do the right thing and drop the charge when it's called in court

I wonder what will happen to the suspect who faces a robbery charge
