Unless one is against all marriage I cant see how being against gays being married is anything but discriminatory.

Come on now! If you said indifferent I would say no, but you actually feel you have the right to deny what someone else does with themselves. I believe the biggest push back comes from people that feel like gay marriage or it passing invalidates all religious arguments against it. And what does that leave you with? I personally don't like/feel comfortable with/... Gay people and I just don't want to change. So I'm prejudice!

I was going to say you can be against Gay Marraiage and not be Homophobic, but when you listen to the reasons that most people are against homosexual marriage you cant find one reason that is not homphobic.

How can you NOT be? I mean honestly it takes entirely too much energy to want to FIGHT against someone trying to validate their love and commitment for each other to not have it be some ignorance based hate/fear. We as Black people should most certainly be sympathetic to the cause considering in the US we have been the victims of just such phobias. Religion is often the rationale but that very same religion was used by slave masters to justify slavery. Marinate on that.
