I've had AppleCare for all my other phones and have had accelerated access to questions and in-store free diagnostics. I think SquareTrade is good also (from other devices).
I'm debating the loss or theft though now that I see the other options. I'm selling my iPhone 4 right away so I'd be out if something happened to this one. I'll have to think about it more now!
