Folks still do but the trend is going towards the keeping real aspect. More moms coming out talking about how they resent their kids at some points and their still alive *Olivia from the Cosby Show voice*. I keeps it real with folks I show them before and after pics of me and these after after pics and they STH. I keeps it real, almost had to pick up my 5 y.o. from the police station wyling out in Kindergarten act like he aint got no sense diagnosing him with an adjustment disorder. But I wish he would flip some chairs at home.... #motherhoodforreal

People don't lie about motherhood where I live. I usually hear how hard it is to be a mom and how some wish that they could quit a couple of times. Hell, my mom told me that once lol.

I feel as if popular media lies about motherhood (hell parenthood in general) but that in general people try and keep one hundred when you ask. I always tell the story of a former boss of mine who told me when discussing having kids (at least the birth component of it) how he would not wish it upon his worst enemy. He says you are worried about your woman, you are worried about your kid and it's just terrible. I laughed it off, but fast forward to the birth of my son who had to be delivered via emergency c-section and my man's words came back to haunt me. Yes people may ride out on the great parts of parenting more often than not, but isn't that the case with all things. We try to celebrate the good life brings and leave the bad shit out of the conversation.

I have not listened yet but I continually discourage parenting to all my friends, this is some bullshit son. Remember the freedom to go eat what you want to eat, to see whatever movie you want whenever you want, the freedom to fuck in your own house and not worry about these lil niggas seeing you balls deep in they momma.

And on top of that I get to spend more than my mortage putting thes lil motherfuckers in good white people daycare. Having children is a net negative that has some alleged emotional benefit I am yet to find. In short fuck these lil niggas.
