If there was an option worse than "Sluggish", i wouldn't have hesitated to select it. To say that their response was worse than DISASTROUS would be just a mere understatement.

There is nothing like security here,there should have been a fourth option...comatose.The horror of that video has not left me and I couldn't even watch to the end,to think that they were around with the lame excuse that the crowd was too much for them.That is a comatose police force not sluggish.

Security anywhere in Nigeria is a topic for another day,we lock our gates and pray God keeps us safe.However,we as NIgerians should learn to look out for one another, knowing that our neighbour's security is tied to ours. Govt on the hand should endeavour to prioritize the issue of security as it is the most pressing need of NIgerians.
In my candid opinion, i think there isn’t any security agency in Nigeria. Not that we don’t have people whom are on pay roll, but operationally, they are nothing but a mirage.
They are never there when required. They only show up when there is something to loot. What a shame.
By now, i hope those in power realized 'Buying Toyota Hilux's' for police and create a Tv show of it is not what serious Govt called security. Non-responsive should have been included in the options.
As far as I'm concerned, police response is not existing! I happened †̥☺ witness here in lagos where someone was being pursued by some hoodlums.as he was running he saw a mopol $ ran †̥☺ him. D. Police man said he should have known better than walking alone in dat part of lagos! Things happen in front of police $ they do nothing.
NIGERIA AND SECURITY
There is no viable security in this nation. The Leadership of the country must rise up to this challenge. We need to learn from other developed countries how their security agencies have been up and doing. Again human lives are like chickens on the street and our leaders are doing nothing about this. This is pathetic.

there is no security in this country, our security agencies are not ready to give us maximum protection. we only live by the mercy of God, anybody can arm you anywhere anytime and go score free, no body is ready to respond not to talk of quick or slow.
