In a perfect world Steve Coppel would be manager for life. That would also mean Dougie Freedman would never had been manager. My vote for Karl Robinson is based solely on what is realistic. Many of the candidates mentioned here would probably not come within ten miles of Selhurst Park except to poach our players.
