AKSHAYA Centres in each grama panchayat is the service orovider of Village Offices in Revenue Department for issueing online Certificates about 22 categories, Caste, Ownership, Nativity, Income, Creamy layer etc. The fee fixed for each certificate is Rs.20/- only. But the service personnel attached to Akshaya Centre are collecting Rs.50/- per certificate unauthorisedly. The centre denied to issue formal receipt intoken of collecting excess amount of Rs.30/-This system has been introduced by the collution of officers in village offices and Akshaya centres. This is a classic example of Government system to introduce corruption at lower levels to provide delivery of services to the uneducated citizens in villages. Citizens should fight against this new corruption menace introduced in Revenue Dept. The excess amount collected illegally will be shared between Village Officer and Akshya centre in each village. Stringent Action is demanded to curtail the unethical practice.
