If the term limits cannot be applied, there should at least be a review of the benefit packages that former elected officials get. It is my understanding that after only having served one term, they get lifetime medical coverage. And those that leave office under less than "honorable" circumstances should have to forfeit any benefits. It's a disgrace that our former Gov. Rowland is collecting a 50 thousand dollar plus pension and getting a sweet medical plan that regular working people can't afford!
