I have the same problem. I have to pay her a boat load of money. I changed jobs because my other job was in jeopardy. Now I make less money and my court date was postponed twice already. In the mean time child support and alimony are in arrears. She makes more money than me with the alimony and child support and she has a full time job. How is that fair. Why aren't the state representatives doing something about this problem because it is a major problem in the country. My case is in union county but the results are the same. I can barely afford my own bills and can't even afford a place of my own. She gets to go on vacation and I have to work. Even probation can't get things right. The whole system needs to be reformed immediately. I pray that our state representatives do something about this soon instead of milking it and have a commision to study alimony reform. They need to act instead of creating a commision to study it. In the meantime people are suffering and being thrown in jail for no reason because the laws are outdated. The state reps feel that they come up with ridiculous laws instead of reforming the old ones on the books. Is the law really a law? No its how you interpret the law. Why have laws on the books if its going to be interpreted? Can someone tell me why that is. I feel for everyone who is being taken advantage of and something needs to be done about it.
