What a great idea Charlotte - there are some birds that are around here year round, but never come to the feeders until winter - and they are among my favourites - evening grosbeaks, as well as pine, nuthatches and juncos... all making merry at my feeders with the year round visitors.
Have so enjoyed your blog - and hope you keep it up. And always congratulations on starting up Alberta Birds - another great idea.
