On my facebook page it says I clicked "Yes" Pretty sure I clicked NO, and if I didn't, then that's what I meant to click.. That's a big NO to teachers being armed!!
No, they should not. Just because they're a teacher, doesn't mean they won't snap and pull a gun on someone. This might be 2012, and we may have better screening processes for teachers, but there still seems to be an awful lot of issues in our schools. How about we start by NOT sending money to other countries and use that money to help get our mental facilities back up. Get research going into better mental illness/disability evaluations, medications, and programs. Put more and better security measures in at ALL schools. A little history lesson linked here.
