Who is going to buy the DVD with a series missing.I have the 1970s one. I thought the new Survivors was very good with good acting and characters which reflected the modern era. Most tv series are axed because of ratings or finance not because of some conspiracy theory.
The Beeb. Poor scheduling and a lack of commitment to the show.
Ratings wise, had it been a BBC3 show, they would have been crowing about how many viewers it had!
I have come to the belief that this was a decision made/influenced by govt powers passed through the BBC. I base this on different input I have received through various contacts. The reason being that the shows storyline as developed in the 2nd series was starting to get too close to home, so to speak.
