IF what we see and read has no effect on us, a LOT of money is wasted on advertising, isn't it?? Also, we have attempted to remove GOD from our lives. As a result, we have allowed evil to move in.

I think we need to stop blaming everything else and blame the person who committed the crime. I have always played violent video games, and I also own several guns that qualify as "assault weapons", but I have never had the urge to shoot anyone in real life. It is the parents' responsibility to teach their kids right from wrong. I enjoy my hobby of shooting my guns almost every day, and it is not fair to punish responsible gun/violent video game owners for other people's mistakes. Do we punish other drivers when someone is involved in a deadly drunk driving accident?? People need to be sensible and not over react to these tragedies. Criminals do not follow laws, therefore more gun laws only punish people like me who are responsible, law abiding gun owners.

Video games are only part of the problem. You also have to factor in music, movies, and media. Our children are "growing up too fast",meaing parents are letting them get "out here" without knowing what's going on until its to late! Parents need to be more involved, the friends have more of the influence.
