Among the potential names on the list, I think that only "jargon" has a generally negative connotation, although "wawa" might sound overly simplistic. Just "Chinook" is confusing as it is the name of a traditional language or family on and around the Columbia River valley. "Chinook pidgin" would be potentially even more negative than "jargon" as the best-known connotation of "pidgin" is Papua New Guinea, whose inhabitants do not have the best reputation in the general population (as opposed to, possibly, among linguists and anthropologists).
