Can't say Match has produced "great" results, but mostly yes. Other sites I've used in the past have been spotty (Zoosk, POF, OkCupid) but have been ok. While most experiences have been good, one ongoing recurring issue seems to be this: a woman sends an email showing high interest, asks questions, volunteers her number/email first, and meeting up in a few days. You respond kindly, exchanging your info, maybe even texting a bit, then you never hear a word again. Poof! Gone. Same with sending a message, have a response, again information is mostly shared, then gone again. I find it odd and very dismissive...at least say its not going to work...then again, it's amazing how some can make up their minds after a few emails/texts. Guess its easier these days to hide behind the email/text and move on. I try and respond to everyone as nicely as possible, even women I feel there would be no connection with. Common courtesy.
One other issue, I wish there was more of an effort made for pictures and positivity in profiles. I will never respond to anyone without a picture. In some cases it seems some just wont take the time to sell themselves. A confident profile with confident pictures might produce a confident connection from a confident guy. Thank you.
