Not only will they not remember it; most times they don't even enjoy it. Too much noise, strange people and long hours for a 1 year old. Clowns are frightening and baloons popping scare them. They end up tired and crabby. Such parties are more for the parents. Wait until they can appreciate and enjoy such a party, about 4 or 5 years of age.

I would give my one year old a nice party that is geared towards a 1 yr old. But children don't have a memory of these things anyway. All they will have are pictures that their parents will take. A true memory isn't until are about 4 or 5 yrs old.
