Nicki M. .......really...Big mistake HUGE. I too was a AMERICAN IDOL FAN. When selecting and searching for new judges this is the best you can do? If you did your homework did you not watch Nicki"s total disgraceful and degrading gestures during the SUPER BOWL halftime show live with millions and millions of viewers having to digest this total disrespect to people ( elderly,baby boomers,and especially children) well i did and from that moment on i have no respect for her. She definitely had none for us....therefore my stomach churns on cue when i see or hear her. I gave a quick look in nope she has a terrible whine n who knows what crayon color of hair she wears for the night. Also i think Randy has ran his course long enough new blood is needed. Needless to say for now i am a BIG VOICE FAN at this stage i feel American Idol is outclassed the national TV viewers ratings agrees.
Nicki Minaj has driven away my family from this show. She is one of the rudest and most obnoxious people I have seen. She should be paid off and sent home. Whomever decided to bring her on should be fired. The kids and other judges deserve better! It is quite possible she has done, single handedly, what no one else has been able to do - bring American Idol to it's knees and destroyed it.
I have been a faithful watcher of AI (every show) since the second season. But I think you have finally lost me this year. I really don't think I can take another night of Nicki Minaj. This is no longer the American Idol. This is a farce. It's worse than a farce, it's downright horrible. I have been watching the X Factor, The Voice and America's Got Talent. Except for Simon Cowell (although he is mellowing somewhat) and L.A. sometimes, the judges are enjoyable, pleasant, funny, sane, add a little to the show, but don't take away from the contestants. AI judges (except for Keith Urban) are not only farcible, horrible & ridiculous, they are mean! I find no redeeming quality in them. I decided to give AI a second chance by watching the second episode & had to stop before halfway through it. I couldn't watch another second--my favorite show in the last 12 years is now the worse show on TV. What the h_ _ _ have you done?!
