I think it was on due to the fact it was for the president. She carried herself like a Lady She was honoring respect, You dress how you feel about yourself. Professional, has nothing to do with clothes.
I thought the dress was nice...but I agree that it was WAAAAY to dressy for the inauguration. Did she think she was the First Lady? I'm 42..and although I chose to be in the legal profession...I also studied music and have a lot of performance time under my belt.... The one thing I learned was to never let your appearance be better than your performance. Kelly was out there...wrapped up in her coat and scarf like everybody else....BLEW US ALL AWAY...did a classy rendition of a traditional song. Beyonce, out there with a black lace gown...no coat...lost power in her voice with ALLL the rifts... You don't hafta do all those rifts and voice inflections on such a stately song. Her performance was lackluster compared to her appearance. Then she had the nerve to throw her hands up like "i sang that Song, didnt i!" I'm disappointed. I really like Beyonce. She needs to get back to her roots and not over think it.... You still have to practice in order to be prepared!
First off, I LOVE "B"' she always! Looks good. For this occasion I think she should have kept more simply but classy! The dress she wore was for the evening. I hope she dosen't lose her kind and sweet personality because of an over puffed ego!! Like I said earlier, I LOVE BEYONCE!!!!
