Should Google relent and let ad-blockers back into the Play Store?

Why is it that big corporations and government always determine what is best for us? Really wish they would stay the f**k out of our lives and worry about real problems, not my desire to block propaganda from my devices.

The whole point of Android is that it is an open platform. Users should be able to run whatever apps they want on it - or does Google plan on shutting down 3rd party app stores as well?
I block ads via the hosts file directly without an app, as I'm sure many others do, and these apps are still available elsewhere so the revenue increase generated by removing them from Play can only be a small percentage of overall ad revenue. The goodwill damaged in the process, however, may actually cost them more.

Google Android's only revenue are generated by ads : Android is free of charge for manufacturers. The only way for google to get money is to show you ads, track you for commercial purpose, and (sadly?) remove ad blockers. On iOS, there is no (speaking about the software) way to remove ads on a non jailbroken device. But it is still awesome. Just let google act as they want.
