Should Tiger Woods have been disqualified after his drop on 15 in the 2nd round?

The man was dropping a ball as required. He cannot control where it was going to roll. Someone claimed because it rolled further away, he did not hit it from the same spot. That would require placing the ball right back where it was hit from. Doesn't the rule require a drop. Humm? The he would surely be in violation of the rule. I'm sorry but some people just have to make this game more difficult than it already is. My dad was a Dallas pro, friend of both Ben Hogan & Sam Snead. I wonder how ridiculous the old pros would think about this. The committee did the right think in penalizing him 2 strokes.

Johnny Overturf, Jr. son Johnny Overturf, Sr. who made me read the new rule book each year and tell him if anything had changed.
