BM play a nice game and often win with sheer physical advantage and endurance and seldom beautiful inspiring tactical soccer . Pep will no doubt bring a different game to the German side that may carry BM 's game from the purely physical to the artistic.

Well, it's obvious that Bayern doesn't need Pep right now, but they are thinking in the future. Bayern is a top team (although they're going to bite the dust in semi-finals..., sorry, but I'm with Barcelona) and they want it to keep that way. If Bayern waits a few years, then they would have to look for a new coach and perhaps, at that time, it would not be so easy to find a coach as good as Pep...

...if Pep comes in now, he will need time to understand the strengths and weaknesses of all the players and since he has a different game philosophy, it will scatter the team and they will need another 3 to 4 seasons to replicate what they have achieved this year.
