Should Parents Put Videos Of Themselves Disciplining Their Children On The Internet?

No, they shouldn't, but I do cut the fathers who have daughters some slack because raising a daughter is likely to drive you crazy. I've already accepted that if I have a daughter I'll have to either kill myself once she turns 12 or so, or have myself frozen with advanced technology and thawed out around her 28th birthday. That way I'll miss out on finding her twerk videos online or catch a case when I happen to walk in on her and a teenage boy doing what teenagers do.

What would the parent really hope to gain by putting this online? Do the parents have an audience in mind, are these supposed to be instructional? Will it make the children behave better, or just wind up embarrassing them for life? Recording an ass whupping doesn't show good parenting, it shows bullying or worse child abuse. I wonder what Bill Cosby has to say about this...

Nope, there are a lot of people waiting to tell you how to raise kids that they want nothing to do with. Plus sometimes Law Enforcement has to get involved and that tends to go bad for the parent who has provided them with video proof of the crime. You guys are great by the way, thanks for the podcasts.

All child hazing should be done behind closed doors.
