I find my work to be life-giving

Mark: I really enjoyed your last message ( I enjoy most of your messages). I have been so fortunate in my life to have had my dream job. I worked for the Mont Co Recreation Department for 35 years. The last 21 years I served as Director of the Potomac Community Center. These were the happiest years of employment, I even returned to the job last October temporarily after retiring in 2010 to fill in while they were looking for a new Director. Serving people and helping them to enjoy their leisure time has been very fulfilling. I interacted with a very diverse population which taught me a lot about God's people. I never took a promotion and it never mattered. What mattered most was never regretting getting up in the morning to go to work and believing that what I did mattered. Your message helped me to see that God has really blessed me and created a hope to pray that others can find such blessings in what they do on a daily basis. Thanks again for all that you and your family contribute to making church more than just a place to go on Sundays.. Linda
