I voted for LS..when you read a book you kinda picture in your mind what the main character looks like and also sounds like. LS seemed to fit my idea of who Marty is. Anxiously awaiting book 4...woohooo can't wait.

I voted for RE because I thought he put a lot of drama in the story without going overboard like AH. It was a toss-up between him and LS, but I think he did the better job. Good luck Matt!

I voted for CK because I thought his voice was pleasing and just the right speed. I agree with Julie that CK's voice was raspy and sounded like who I think Marty is. LS read too fast and the descriptions that he was giving didn't have a chance to sink in and form a picture for me. I thought AH's voice was boring. RE would have been my second choice.

I voted for RE because he had a good voice and also he was the only one that didnt make your female character sound like a 12 yr old . My second choice would be CK, that raspy older voice fits the Marty in my head as I read the book. All the rest sound to young to be a retired cop.
For me, it's overwhelmingly the second one. BB, I think it is. I felt like the first two were more in character than the others, but BB has this...interesting mix of Christian Slater's accent and Jack Nicholas voice and inflection. I loved it! He sounded like your man to me, hands down. I even liked the way he did the female voice the best.
