Why were owners fined for pigs not having a ring.
I wonder how much they would be fined if the pigs didn't have rings around their noses.
It's so cool that the colonists found a way to have town meetings without the British knowing . One time I watched this TV show about the Revolutionary War and it featured the Continental congress. I found it very informative. Also, I have a connection with the painting of Paul Revere and his metal pots. I saw this same painting in the Art of the Americas. This museum also had some of Paul Revere's actual hot chocolate pots! :)
WOW!!! Milton's most important industries was making chocolate back then!!! I never knew!
I think holding town meetings was a good idea because the people can share any problems they might have with the town to other people that they can relate to.
Wow there are so much mills in Milton and its wierd thats theres a fence man and also my mom is a town meeting member
I think it so cool how we live in a town that had so much to do with Americans Independence from England. I didn't think that anyone in Milton at the time of the Revolutionary War would have the Continental Congress meeting at there home.
I think it would be difficult to make hot chocolate in that old pot; I wonder how they stirred it? Also, I think it was smart and important for people to have their special jobs that help run the town.
Wow- I never knew that chocolate was a major industry in Milton! The different jobs are very interesting, especially when you compare them to town jobs nowadays!

I can’t believe chocolate was an important industry in Milton!! Also, I thought it was interesting that Milton had so much to do with the Revolutionary War. I didn’t know there were so many different jobs, such as a Fence Man or a Reeve.
