I would have moved to Cork from England a lot earlier, like 20 years earlier!!
I would have had no problem with employment, even then there was a rash of good hotels opening up.
Never mind, things are still good. :)
I would have held on with my original career choice as a teacher. I was too young at the time to ward off the jibes of students who were only 3 or 4 years younger than me then ended up with a variety of largely administrative positions over the years that have bored me to tears and never provided the dollars that the effort justified.
