I just wanted to give you a word of advice. Don't EVER do something because you think it will make someone like you! If you loose weight even if it's five pounds, do it for Ivan, not for some girl. Granted I don't know you personally, but you sound like you have had trials in the relationship department. You seem like you have a good heart, and one day you will find Mrs. Right! She will love you for you, and if you loose weight it's for you. Because you deserve to be happy and healthy!
