It is totally the selectors who are responsible for the team's defeat in ODI and Test matches.I have noticed over the past three years that the right players not chosen for right format. I have noticed that great test match players such as Azhar Ali and Misbah Ul Haq are made play ODI. No doubt he is one of the greatest test player but he is too slow to play in ODI. Same applies to Azhar. Another point to note is that some other great players such as Mohammed Yousaf and Abdul Razzaq have been neglected altogether. In the same way, Kamran Akmal is not being selected. Umar Akmal is not being given much priorty either.
A team loses when there is 75% inexperience in the side. At all time there should be not be less than 75% experience in side. However the selectors do not the team to perform.
@adil ...If you are not drunk then i must advice you that Misbah is the all time best captain with the most number of wins according to ICC history leaving behind west indian great clive lloyd.
He is averaging almost 45 runs in ODI's.
he is the only player who is in ICC top 10 batsman.
He has been the best batsman for the last three tournaments, highest scorer in all three and scoring 4 half centuries in 5 ODIs against WI.
On other side Hafiz is averaging mere 25 in ODIs or some thing and he has been a MAJOR FLOP in last many series yet getting chances to play more and more...
Mr. ADIL, If you don't have cricketing brain and even if you don't have any sort of sense then please stay at your house...enjoy a bag full of chips and don't misguide people
its better if u kick misbah,he isn't capable of being Capitan as such a great side.we have more options like hafeez,afridi.y not we gave a chance to hafeez? he has played well as Capitan against India.
If you see indian batting line up..you'll see they're v classy n technically v strong. they have gr8 attitudes n strokes variety. Each of them, and the previous batsmen also, are a treat to watch things.
On other hand, we have been promoting OVER RATED and technically ZERO batsmen. The biggest example is SHAHID AFRIDI, who in a real cricketing sense, is no doubt the most pathetic batsman technically n mind wise...over 350 matches with poor batting average of early 20's? now a world record of not taking wicket on more than 300 balls. He got out with most no. of ducks in the finals of major tournaments.
Now luk at Hafeez...does he luk like a serous buddy? he is just stylish nothing else...no temprament no nothing. Like wise, kamran akmal and shoaib malik are poor to watch n as a player they are just average...you don't need average players in inernational cricket.
The only world class player in team is no doubt Misbah ul Haq...a real man of steel n class...he is no tuk tuk.....sheer class.....highest scorer in Pak vs RSA series...highest scorer in domestic n winner captain...highest scorer in ICC champions trophy....averaging near 44 runs in ODI's.
I think PCB should give confidence to Misbah n ditch atleast 4 players FOREVER for Pak-WI series..
