This guy is the very definition of hubris. He should devote his life to making amends to his family and the people of New York, all of whom he victimized. His behavior does not warrant consideration for any public office in this state; I wouldn't vote for this guy to be a dog catcher in the smallest village in NY much less a statewide office. Public service is a privilege Spitzer, and you forfeited yours and brought shame upon NY. No second chances.

I am deeply ashamed to at one time calling Mr. Spitzer my friend. Today, I would not give him a drink if he were a man dying of thirst.

A man without shame. Without regard for his Wife and his Family. His doom was his lust, to which he sacrificed all. By his own free will. Nothing new. He should look for a place to hide himself. And make his penance there.

His reputation is ruined for life; he doesn't stand a chance.

We are all humans and we all make mistake. I don't think what he did is a reason for him not to go back in the politics, after all is not like he was stealing money from the government. And the truth is that nobody is a saint.
