There was no justice in this case. I believe it was juror no. B31 that stated that 3 of the 6 jurors felt Zimmerman was innocent befor they were given the facts. Therefore the trial began with assumptions.
Another factor, the jurors inability to decipher or comprehend the statemenrt given by Rachel's Jental. She was totality removed from the reality of the black society in the 21st Centry. She clearly expressed her willingness to displace her sympathy that should have been directed to the victim to a murderer.

The racial issues of this case is not a case of blacks vs. whites rather it is a case of mistreated Cubans whom wereforce to leave their country due to the unjust imposed upon them by their government that have integrated themselves in this society. There are members of that culture whom have not embrace the Black Race not in Cuba or America. After Hurricane Andrew many of these people relocated to Central Florida taking with them their racist ways because they sincerely believe they are a superior race of some kind, mental sick and over zelious they are taking this country backwards...

It is unfortunate that a murderer is allowed to profit from the blood of an innocent child, his victim. Equally disturbing is the jury who intends to write a book on this case, hoping to profit off the blood of another human being. Are we here for justice or profit?

Then there is the legal system, a system that continues to fail the Black Citizens of this country. Even the Juror B37 could not understand why she was chosen. Maybe she reconized her own inabilities and demeanors that would affect her thought process in this case. This trial is one of profiling from the very start if we care to be honest. Again, this is a case of Cubans killing Blacks and getting away with murder, let's face the facts...

To Mr. Jamie Fox of the Entertainment Industry it was enlighten to here that "you have been around the world and this is the best ". I must agree with you have'nt done some traveling myself. However, let''s not forget that this great country was build by our fore parents, the original Jews that was force out of Egypt into Africa by the Romans.

We have been around the globe building Impires, we are a very capable group people. We are a treat not for the assumed bad that we have been labeled for but for the goodness and greatness that we are capable of. LET'S NOT FORGET THAT !!!!!

I hope that justice is served for this poor child's death, unlike the Casey Anthony case.

This is a totally racist event Blacks kill blacks, white and latins and no one seems to care why is that ??? but any time a white has an altercation or kills a black its racist. im not for any human being to die at the hands of another but watch the news every day blacks are killing all of our races . what about last week when the poor latin guy with his groceries at a bus bench by a black individual is anyone protesting this and why not ?
The blacks rob ,rape and kill and take up a large percentage of our prisons .when does it stop becoming a race issue. We are all of color i believe we are not treated equally .Americans cannot have an all white Television ,miss America ,awards of any kind Americans have to watch what they say yet black can freely degrade our race our women use their speech as they feel fit with no backlash and it is not racist wake up America . Why is Blacks can have all of these rights. I am sick of this ...Wake Up America Blacks today are not hindered in any way and are not nor have ever been slaves. Blacks can live in white neighborhoods and feel safe and are not threatened by any race . They have better education and job opportunities than most .

Is this racism or ageism or both? Just once I would like to see an abused or murdered child get justice in this country. Just once in my life before I die. Is this far too much to ask? Thoroughly disgusted.

The fact that even this small poll indicates that 50% of the voters agree with the verdict in this trial is sickening. How ironic would it be if they tables were turned and the ones supporting Zimmerman were the ones to receive news that it was their loved ones killed. People are making this more complicated than it really is. Zimmerman pursued an individual that was minding his own business, AFTER, he was instructed not to. The fact that people are defending his unfair, defiant decision is sickening. What was Trayvon possibly going to do if he was alone, on the phone, and just left a 7-11? Zimmerman didn't know that did he? NO. This is disgusting, and is every bit of profiling. I grew up in an underprivileged neighborhood, and never did we assume that every African American male was up to no good. So as far as the profiling and Martin "fitting the description", come again. I see people that fit "profiles" every day, yet that gives neither me or anyone else the right to pursue and get out of their vehicles on someone they see as a so called threat. What is suspicious about walking home? I'll wait. This claim may be by far the lousiest excuse ever. My prayers and heavy heart go out to his family, friends, and those that mourn this travesty with me. A child is dead because of ignorance, assumptions, profiling and evil. Call it what you want, Zimmerman was out of line!

Phony. Banners and plankcards with Trevon Martin pictures were already printed before the verdict and appear as soon as he was declared non guilty. The family were not in the court room which means that the distrrict attorneies knew and told them they were gong to lose.

Based on the evidence: the multiple stories and lies in zimmerman's account, the depraved and hateful state of mine of Zimmerman when he got out of his vehicle armed, the laps of time for the arrest of Zimmerman and on and on and on- there is no doubt that zimmerman is guilty of cold blooded murder!

Emmett Till, a 14-year-old black young man, was tortured, grossly disfigured and murdered in 1955 in Mississippi after being accused of flirting with a white woman...

We don't know what went down on the Trayvon/Zimmerman jury and trial, but we know our history. We know the many stories that Black males tell about their treatment in our nation. We know if we listen.

I can't personally condemn Zimmerman, but man does it suck to whistle, walk, or sometimes talk while being Black.

There is a history, a deep history, past and very present of allowing and justifying White rage, White fear, and White privilege. But damn any Black, Native American or other marginalized group for trying to point out the unfair balance in who is allowed rage.
