It is just also a today Hornets against old Hornets kind of thing. Plus, over 50% of the people taking this poll would want to watch it. It is good TV business to have this matchup on television. What other team would you like to see the Charlotte Hornets play against? Why are people saying the Heat? LeBron is going to leave the aging Wade and the exiting prime Bosh. How about the Clippers? Having CP3 used to play with the old Hornets and is now playing the new Hornets? We all have different opinions.
The Cavs were the very first opponent in Hornets History. No more need for a New Orleans rivalry. In fact we should thank them for making the Hornets name available again.
