Leave them alone... I personally would be afraid due to the amount of violence surrounding this trial outcome.

I served on Fed jury one time, I swore then, I would never serve on another one. I can now opt out because of my age, but notwithstanding that, I would not subject myself or family to that sort of crap,

I do not know of any locales where jury service is optional. Public disclosure of juror names will contaminate the judicial process. If a juror is aware that he/she can be subject unsought media scrutiny, they will opt to please the public instead of weigh the evidence, so as to avoid threats of bodily harm. Juries serve as a buffer against government bias. They should also be a buffer against media bias. (Sequestration cannot undo pretrial media exposure. )

I was on a high profile jury, and my name and photo were on the front page of the paper the day I was picked. I was followed home by reporters, called at all hours. A number of people came to my home and office to tell me their theory of the case, or to leave me packages! I had to call the police many times. More than a decade later, I am still getting calls from reporters. Shortly after my experience, my state changed the law to protect jurors identities.
I don't think keeping jurors' names secret would have an affect on juror misconduct.

Making jurors names public would cause jurors to convict in line with public opinion (people outside the courtroom) in fear of retaliation from people that will alway claim race if the ruling does not agree with their own opinion.

Jury selection is a civic duty and should be seen as a neutral element of the case. The public should not hold jurors responsible neither should jurors use this as a vehicle for book deals or business opportunities.
