There will be many people using this new segment. And please note, there will be no frontage road... only exits and ramps to get back on the road. As for the toll, it's cheaper for me (Bridgeland resident) than sitting in traffic and taking all the back roads trying to get to Katy. Like it or not, folks -- Katy has lots of new development that us in Cypress and outlying areas love to frequent.

I originally moved to Katy to escape Houston. In the 7 short years Katy has grown, school ratings have dropped, crime has increased and everything has changed. All I hear is how wonderful all this development is. Wonderful for who? Follow the money trail...

For the neighborhoods closest to the new construction, it was very exciting to finally gain quick access to I-10!...until we saw the toll booths. How discouraging. Thanks for pumping even MORE traffic through our neighborhoods, but not helping us at ALL! I think we should receive a monthly credit to our EZ Tag accounts if we live within half a mile of this new beast.
