The City of St. John's will no longer require applicants for outside jobs to have passed Grade 12. Thoughts?

No big deal; I was not aware that had been the standard anyway

Bad move; every employee should be able to meet at least that standard

This speaks volumes about the state of the labour pool these days

OK, but I hope the city revisits this decision down the road
