Smoked Fish on Pizza, Way or No Way?
Absolutely! There is literally nothing in this world that isn’t improved with a little fishiness.
Why not? In fact, why not go all out and make a BAGEL pie? I’m thinking full-on lox, capers, red onion, maybe some goat cheese…
I can see some of the heartier, hot-smoked varieties (trout, whitefish) working, but if we’re talking something cold-smoked (like lox), you’ve lost me.
I’ve never tried it, but I’m pretty into anchovies or clams on my pizza, so I guess I’d be willing to give smoked fish a try.
