The only effect that I personally felt from the "shutdown" was a constant dull whine in my ears from all the media claiming impending doom and gloom.

Gov. shutdown is nothing compared to what Obamacare will do to us!!
Maybe the communists have won with Obamacare, but we the Patriots will continue to fight!!
