Even though I was not switched at birth I have an understanding of not knowing who your biological parents are. I was adopted when I was three months old. My parents are the ones that raised me. My mom and dad loved me as their own and they are my parents. I often wondered about my biological parents and five years ago (I am 49) my biological father found me and several weeks later he found my biological mom. It was exciting and scary at the same time to meet them. It has been a true blessing but I would not change a thing. I am thrilled to now be the oldest of 12 children between three families!
