if it is possible to have a focussed operational session, similar to silvilaser2012, would be great. Provide an opportunity for operaional managers to see how other land managers are using remote sensing data for operational outcomes. The application of research into mainstream land management, productive industry such as native forest and plantation management, fire management or ecoological management, I believe would be of benefit to non research practitioners. Help bridge the gap between great research and current management problems.

tony.
Working sessions with data manipulation would be a good way to make the conference more attractive
- For example, a half-day of working sessions with 3-4 core topics (to be defined) would be very attractive and bring interest groups together.
- Quality of accepted abstracts should be high(er)
Working sessions will definitely be useful.
