There's renewed talk about declaring cod an endangered species (and redfish, too). Thoughts?

This makes no sense; cod stocks have definitely improved in the years since the last proposal was rejected

Let's do this; two decades after the moratorium, and we're nowhere near a recovery

If it means the food fishery would be affected, then I'm against it

Troubling, but let's make a decision based on facts and figures, not wharfside anecdotes
