Other than my general disdain for the rush to acquire ever larger piles of consumer goods, there is the practical matter of time and money, which don't seem to be in abundance in our household. We work and spend to make the holiday dishes and decorations to share with our friends. I don't know why I would scrimp on these and neglect what is already a good thing. Happy Holidays!
