Looks cheap!! Looks too much like the Buick emblem. Somebody have something against the olive branch. Just bought new SRX but wouldn't even consider 2017 XR5 because of the cheap looking emblem

In 1999 when I was working at GM, the last Cadillac logo was introduced together with a slogan "Art and Science". The current logo definitely has no art in it. It looks cheap and ugly. What a shame!

My XTS shows "Cadillac" only on one place of the interior and exterior. More than once older people have known it is a Cadillac AFTER seeing the wreath.

This wreathless crest idea is so bad it forces me to write about it. I love caddi's more than I love my family, sometimes. And what did it all for me was the emblem. Honestly that's it. As a young buyer I saw the elegance and I thought "ooh! Screw mercedes, this emblem REEKS of class". So I looked into the car and salvaged my first caddy– purely because I liked the emblem more than Mercedes. This new crest is friggin lazy. Look at all the past cadillac crests. My favorite was the 1930s crest with wings. The 2000 was a near copy of the 1900s one. This crest is not only just a copy now, but a cheap knock off. It looks like a chevy emblem in it's wide, squarish, garish glory (or lack thereof). I know you'd think I'm over-reacting and whining, but as nice as the car is– if it doesn't look good it won't sell. I loved the 2nd gen Cts styling and all, but the 3rd gen looks squarish, the new escalade looks like a brick– and the new emblem just makes it impossible to look at. It distracts so much– it's so eye catchingly off-putting that I can barely focus on even the better features of the car. All the newer caddies were at least ok to look at (albeit way too blocky for my tastes as I prefer the sleek near triangular shape of caddi's past), back when the emblem had the wreath. And as a loving cadillac fan, who was willing to spend over half an hour serenading you with my petty little testimony– I greatly resent the new emblem and wish you would change it.

Ps. The new caddy headlights, I like how it's a nod to the first generation CTS tailights (they look exactly the same but in ghe front), but that pushes the appeal. The same way you replaced those in the rear for the caddy to make it seem less fat, you should get rid of these and use either the 2nd gen caddy tailight shape or go back to the big wide expressive eyes caddies of past.

Thank you for reading all that, you are very handsome. (Unless you didn't read and are trying to steal compliments from the hardworking people of America

As stated above... Brands like BMW, MERCEDES-BENZ, even top of the top ROLLS ROYCE wouldnt do this to their brand logo!!! Im ALL FOR "innovation" and moving forward!! But i dont think ROLLS ROYCE would EVER EVER make a car and NOT put the SPIRIT OF EXTACY on the hood!! Same with BENZ!! Even people who arent "into cars like that " know what the "TRI STAR" means!!!!!! Mercedes wouldnt dare change it!!! I currently own a 2006 escalade and love every inch of it!!!! And absolutley ADORE my WREATH AND CREST on the front n rear of my truck!!!! As one guy stated above.. Whoever came up with the idea to "86 the wreath" needs to b DEMOTED to building maitenance!!! This would seriously prevent me from leasing a new escalade!!!!! HAS NOTHING to do with "attracting young customers" either im 28!!!! And LOVE MY WREATH N CREST!!!! Its what "makes a caddy a CADDY"!!! Please GM!! The 2015 escalde was GORGEOUS before i found out the "new emblem" makes the whole nose of the truck hideous!! Please GM..... Reconsider!

I have been a Cadillac owner for 14 years (currently 2014 CTS) and just drove a loaner 2015 CTS with the new emblem while mine was in for service.....OMG! I can't believe how the absence of the wreath changed the whole esthetics of the front of the car. It looks simply horrible! BRING BACK THE DAMN WREATH!!!!!!

Be proud of the old emblem with the wreath was perfect and recognized worldwide. I think its a big mistake and I'm a new cadillac owner and fully prefer the old emblem. I also own an mercedes and bmw, their emblems have never changed. The old cadillac emblem was much classier.

I don't care if they change their emblem. Designs can be improved up. Take Crysler's emblem change a few years back as a prime example. However, this certainly is not an improvement aesthetically.

BIG MISTAKE!!! Mercedes is proud of its Emblem, but I guess GM isn"t proud of thier's. I have driven Caddy's for 29 year's and I am damn well proud of the Wreath! The only Badge out there that compare's to Mercedes. Who ever came up with this idea should be demoded to sweeping floors !!! Listen to your buyers GM, before its to late.

I THINK THIS IS A BIG MISTAKE FOR CADILLAC TO REMOVE THE "BEAUTIFUL WREATH" FROM THE CREST!! BY DOING THIS THEY HAVE DIMINISHED THE BEAUTY, ELEGANCE AND DISTINCTION THAT HAS BEEN A PART OF THE CADILLAC LOGO NOW FOR 50 YEARS!! I BELIEVE THIS IS GOING TO HURT SALES BIG TIME!! THE EXISTING CADILLAC CUSTOMERS LOVE THE "WREATH AND CREST COMBINATION LOGO" AND WE DO NOT WANT IT TO GO AWAY!!!!!
