Poll: What Do You Do With Your Crusts?
Eat them, always, and appreciate every last bite of that pie – there is no excuse for leaving any part behind.
If the crust is exceptionally good, tender and flavorful, the right amount of salt and so on…then sure, I’ll eat them.
I usually only eat the crusts if I’m still hungry when I’m done – sort of saving them as a last reserve, if you will. If that pizza already filled me up, well, c’est la vie.
I don’t “eat” crusts, I DIP them; give me something saucy to dunk them into and I’m all over those bad boys.
Crusts are nothing more than a means to an end, the handle to my slice, and I have no compunctions whatsoever about leaving their brittle bones in my dust.
