Should the NFL eliminate the extra point?

Absolutely correct! The extra point currently is a total waste of time and effort. And I like the suggested 8th point rule. Also let's get rid of the kick off that puts the ball in the end zone. There is no excitement in that action at all. If a ball is kicked in the end zone on "kick off" the ball will be brought back to the 40 yard line.

While we are changing rules why do we play that special waste of time the two minute warning? That might have been important back when there weren't any clocks on the field but the "warning" is longer needed.

Now lets seriously do something about head butts in the game. For the first offense the player committing the foul is taken off the field for the next 15 minutes of game time. For the second offense he is kicked out of the game and fined $50,000. I think you would see a dramatic reduction of these head butt injuries with those suggested rulings.
